Aspi-Titter suspension bridge

the vital link

When you’re standing on the Aspi-Titter suspension bridge, you should only look down if you have a head for heights. Because the suspension bridge takes you over the Weisswasser Gorge at the foot of the Fiescher Glacier at the remarkable height of 120 metres. It connects the two Valais municipalities of Bellwald and Fieschertal. But the Aspi-Titter suspension bridge has another very special claim to fame: because of it, an uninterrupted high-altitude hiking trail from the Gotthard region to Lower Valais is possible. At the same time, it also connects the Aletsch region to the district of Goms. The 160-metre, 22-ton structure opened in 2016.
